Henry has worked in financial services for over 15 years and founded Fortress Wealth Partnership Ltd. in 2008.
Since entering the personal financial services sector, Henry has always worked to provide the very finest services to his clients. Thorough and innovative, he aims to meet the needs of those who want help in designing a successful financial strategy for their future. Henry concentrates on aiming to increase clients’ net asset value. Often, by the use of sensible tax planning, he is able to achieve this goal whilst also reducing clients’ overall liability to Income and Inheritance Tax.
Henry lives in Hampshire with his wife Holly and three children Arthur, Margot and Toby. He enjoys golf and cycling but is terrible at both.
Martin started at St. James’s Place in January 2012 and was invited to join Fortress Wealth Partnership Ltd. at the start of 2015. As a wealth manager, his aim is to maximise his clients’ financial situation and provide them with financial peace of mind.
Martin relishes the opportunity to meet new people and help them to achieve their financial and life goals, whatever they might be.
Martin lives in south London with his wife Fleur and daughters Beatrix and Scarlet. He enjoys music, road trips and assuming that his old car is a classic.
Michael D. Theobald
Michael joined St. James’s Place in 1999 and has been with the company for 20 years. Previously a Senior Partner in his own right, Michael has now joined Fortress Wealth Partnership to add his experience and knowledge to FWP. Michael has a wide experience of the Lloyd’s insurance community and has specialised in advising clients in this market for over 21 years. Retirement planning strategies and investment for tax efficiency, growth and income are areas Michael has successfully advised clients over the years. Michael enjoys the ‘holistic’ approach to wealth management and is keen to build up long-term relationships to ensure a positive outcome for all parties concerned.
Prior to joining St. James’s Place in 1999 Michael spent 17 years in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market working for various Lloyd’s brokers. This has enabled Michael to build up an excellent understanding and affinity with insurance market-based clients.
When not working, Michael enjoys playing golf at his home club, Crowborough Beacon GC and Royal Cinque Ports GC (Deal). He is also a member of Lloyd’s Golf Club and the CIBGS (Corporation of Insurance Brokers (London) Golf Society). As you can see Michael is not short of spending his time playing golf, but he would dispute this despite his single figure handicap! Michael also enjoys walking his two dogs Maisie & Archie who provide him with much pleasure and fun.
Jack has worked in financial services since 2010. He started his career in Exeter working for a Chartered Wealth Management firm whilst doing his certificate and diploma exams.
He moved to London and started working for Fortress Wealth Partnership Ltd. in 2016 as a Wealth Management Consultant. Jack enjoys the client relationships as much as the technical side of the industry. Jack is an all-round holistic financial planner driven by the aim to satisfy his clients’ financial goals.
Jack is working towards his Chartered adviser status and in his spare time can be overheard wondering how there are so many people in London compared to the West Country.
Andrew was born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand and having studied Economics at University, quickly realised that he needed to move to the UK. New Zealand’s loss is Fortress Wealth Partnership’s gain – Andrew helped develop our CRM system, as well as providing support to the Advisers. Andrew completed his DipPFS and CertCII in Mortgages in 2017, and has been working with new and existing clients ever since.
Andrew brings a vibrant and detailed approach in advising his clients. He believes that the key to great financial advice is to truly understand his clients’ objectives, and build a holistic plan with structured, tax efficient investing.
Andrew is a keen sportsman. He held an ITF tennis world ranking as a junior meaning he has been gradually getting worse ever since. If he isn’t making an attempt at a British accent around the office, he can be found on the golf course, pretending to do marathon training, or having a jam in his all-Kiwi band.
After graduating from King’s College London, Owen joined Fortress in 2016. Owen has quickly developed a loyal client base through consistently adding value and building strong relationships.
He specialises in offering expert advice in the core areas of retirement and investment planning. Owen lives in south west London and can often be seen either running or cycling along the banks of the Thames.
Molly studied Law at University before joining St. James’s Place in September 2018. She successfully completed the St. James’s Place Academy where she achieved her Diploma in Financial Planning, and joined Fortress Wealth Partnership in April 2019. She has since become mortgage qualified and is now working towards Chartered status.
Molly helps her clients to feel confident in their finances, and works with them to achieve their financial goals by building long-term trusted relationships. The wealth management advice that Molly provides is tailored to each individual client which always ensures that specific financial needs are met.
In her spare time Molly enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and running.
James joined Fortress Wealth Partnership Ltd. in October 2016 after studying Politics and Economics at the University of Kent where he gained a real interest in the financial world.
As well as providing adviser support, James is studying towards his Diploma in Financial Planning with the long-term goal of becoming an adviser.
A keen sportsman, James played rugby and football at university and still holds on to the hope that Liverpool will win the league in his lifetime.
Georgina joined Fortress Wealth Partnership in 2016, having previously worked for a large asset management company.
Combining her strong interpersonal skills with an organised and systematic approach, she is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of Fortress Wealth Partnership. She works closely with Henry to help meet client needs to the very highest standard. Alongside managing and developing our support staff, she is the point of contact for all recruitment and HR-related matters.
Georgina grew up in Northumberland and Scotland, before relocating with her family to New Zealand. She loves yoga, travelling and cooking.
Suzie joined St. James’s Place in 2013 as Practice Manager to Michael Theobald and joined Fortress Wealth Partnership in 2019. Prior to joining St. James’s Place Suzie worked as an insurance Broker both at Lloyd’s of London and in New York.
Suzie has strong interpersonal and organizational skills which enable her to support Michael Theobald and other members of the Fortress team with their administration needs on a daily basis. Suzie has built and maintained relationships with the clients over the years which allows her to offer the highest standard of service.
When not working, Suzie enjoys walking her two dogs in the Ashdown Forest, cooking, travelling and reading.
Emma has worked for St. James’s Place since 2013, having previously worked in a Head Office role in Cirencester. Unable to resist the lure of the big City, Emma joined Fortress in early 2018 and has quickly made herself indispensable, adopting the role of Marketing Manager, paired with Social Secretary and general team workout organiser. Possibly a minor royal and definitely an all-round good egg, Emma turned down a role in Made In Chelsea to focus on her career and has not looked back since.
Alex joined Fortress Wealth Partnership in January 2019 as a junior paraplanner after gaining a First-Class Honours in Economics from the University of Leicester.
His role includes providing adviser support through analytical research, construction of suitability letters and report writing.
As well as paraplanning, Alex is on his way to achieving his diploma in financial planning with the intention of becoming an adviser.
Alex is a keen cyclist and has recently taken advantage of the Fortress Wealth cycle to work scheme, although he is yet to be seen anywhere near the office in his cycling gear.
Tanyel has worked for various St. James’s Place Partners for the last 15 years supporting advisers in their business administration. Joining Fortress Wealth Partnership LLP in 2010, Tanyel has seen the company grow from strength to strength. She supports the advisers through her thorough approach to business administration, not letting a thing ‘slip through the net’.
Tanyel spends most of her spare time running around after her little toddler.
Henri began his career in financial services as an insurance broker, specialising in income & business protection but soon realised that he needed to be in a more technical and client facing environment and joined St. James’s Place in November 2016, where he has spent most of this time as an Account Manager.
Henri is currently working towards his Diploma in Financial Planning with aspirations of becoming an adviser in the near future.
Outside of work, Henri likes to spend his spare time working on this other passions, so you are most likely to see him looking in the mirror at the gym, at a music event or at home cooking.
Georgia joined St. James’s Place in 2017 and brings five years’ worth of advisor support experience to Fortress Wealth Partnership.
Georgia provides a wide range of support to the team, including day-to-day business processing, client servicing and communications.
Outside of work, Georgia enjoys travelling (holidays), and socialising with her friends and family (pints in the pub).
Sam started his career at St. James’s Place in 2016 and has been building his knowledge and experience across a variety of roles and departments ever since.
Having developed a real passion for wealth management, Sam has taken the brave step of working towards his Diploma in Financial Planning with the end goal of becoming an adviser.
Sam has achieved his Black Belt in Wing Chun Kung Fu which he has been studying for the past six
years and continues to lift more than Henry and James at the gym.
